Q: Can I trust that your organiser is helpful?
Expectant Mother’s Journal is inspired by actual child birth experiences of two mothers since 2004 and is a natural predecessor to our Australian bestseller New Mother’s Journal: A Practical Organiser – the organiser you use when baby arrives.
In developing both New Mother’s Journal and Expectant Mother’s Journal, group and one-on-one consultation was held with first-time mothers, mothers of multiple children, grandmothers, fathers, midwives and nurses specialising in post natal care at Belmont Private Hospital, Brisbane Centre for Post Natal Disorders.
Learnings from collective interviews, focus groups and testing experiences were incorporated within the Expectant Mother’s Journal prior to publication.
Our 5-sectioned organisers contain different sections for recording all types of information. Their compact, lightweight and attractive formats make our Journal series easy to pick up and start using at any time of the year.
Information recorded in your Expectant Mother’s Journal becomes invaluable during visits to your health practitioners. You can confidently report on your condition and experiences by citing notes recorded in your journal.

Q: What do I need an ‘organiser’ for? I’ve got a great memory.
Your long term well being, and certainly brain memory function, may be improved by writing things down. Using a diary is advocated by time management experts and supported by members of the medical profession.
Psychiatry practitioners:
“Rumour has it that if you use a diary it will lead to “brain rot” because you are not using your brain…This is not true as a diary helps us to achieve more and we actually end up leading richer lives with much more stimulation for our upper storey.”
Time management practitioner:
“By writing down things to do, you'll reduce the mental clutter swimming around in your head. You'll sleep better, think more clearly and accomplish more.”
The concept of a personal organiser or diary is not a new idea. We’ve harnessed well-documented time management advice and recognised the need for a personal organising device relevant to an expectant mother.
