Our policies
Shipping policy
Limitations of liability
Without limiting the operation of any other conditions herein,
- we will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from a late delivery.
- you agree that late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle you to cancellation of an order.
- we will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after dispatch by mumentum has taken place.
How much is shipping?
A shipping fee applies to all orders. We offer domestic and international shipping via Australia Post Parcel Post. For deliveries within Australia you have the option to select Regular or, for added reassurance and faster delivery, Express Post (with an insurance element). International options include Air and Sea (where ‘via Sea’ is offered for the delivery country).
For each product you select into your shopping cart, a shipping cost will be calculated. You can view your updated shipping options at bottom of page. Select one of the two options (Regular or Express Post / Air or Sea) prior to going to Checkout.
If you have an urgent purchase requirement, we recommend telephoning or emailing us before your order placement to establish our ability to meet your delivery expectations.
Shipping options are subject to change without notice.
Worldwide (International) shipping
mumentum welcomes orders from customers outside Australia, including trade clients. A shipping fee applies to all retail and trade orders.
International shipping services are currently available via Australia Post International Parcel Post - Air or, for a slower but lower cost delivery, Sea (where available to the delivery country).
mumentum is also pleased to assist trade orders by shipping via the client’s existing freight forwarders. (Contact mumentum direct regarding trade orders.)
While international shipping can appear not economical for single or small items, it can be quite reasonable for multiple and larger purchases, especially where delivery is not required soon and can travel by sea. Consider placing a group order with friends and sharing the shipping.
USA delivery orders for New Mother’s Journal: A Practical Organiser
If you are ordering our New Mother’s Journal (only) we have a distributor and re-seller based in Los Angeles, USA. Cute-ture will ship within the USA at lower cost than from mumentum in Australia. We recommend purchasing from www.cute-ture.com if this applies to you.
Trade orders
A freight charge applies to all trade orders, with the exception of local deliveries & pick-ups. Freight charges will be made and quoted during ordering.
mumentum is also pleased to assist trade orders by shipping via the client’s existing freight forwarder.
Delivery time
We process orders after goods are paid for and funds cleared. Where stock is available, orders are generally dispatched within 2 to 5 business days.
Shipping time is additional and depends upon the shipping method (speed and cost) chosen during ordering. Estimated delivery timeframes are quoted at time of shipping being offered and also re-stated in an order confirmation email, which you receive immediately after placing your order. Please remember, these are Australia Post’s delivery times and there will be additional processing days by mumentum (as mentioned above).
Out of stock items & substitutes
If an item is out of stock, a substitute brand or product may be offered. Alternatively, an item may be placed on back-order and shipped as soon as it becomes available. In all cases, the customer will be kept informed.
Late delivery
Only where Express Post (within Australia) has been ordered, can we track a delivery’s status. All international orders can be tracked.
We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery. You acknowledge and agree that late delivery does not constitute a breach by us of our agreement to fulfill an order and does not entitle you to cancel an order.
If an order does not arrive by the estimated delivery date and was dispatched via a tracked shipping option, we will lodge enquiries with Australia Post to ensure that delivery occurs as soon as possible.
If a delivery is lost in transit, we will not dispatch replacement goods immediately. We reserve the right to only dispatch replacements at our discretion.
We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place or could be reasonably expected to take place according to Australia Post’s estimates.
Local pick up
Pick up is available for trade clients only at this time.
Insurance
While every care is taken so goods are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during transit, we recommend consideration be given to insuring your order during delivery. Customers have the right to select Express Post, which contains insurance offered by the shipping provider.
Changes to Policy
We reserve the right to amend or change all or any part of the above policy.
Returns policy
Limitation of this policy
Where the conditions outlined in this Returns Policy do not provide for resolution to a returns query, mumentum will conform to legal obligations as required to be met under the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth).
How to enquire about returning goods
If you would like to exchange or return an item please contact us by email or phone:
enquiries@mumentum.com.au
Carolynne Hassall: +61 (0) 404 883 462
Rennay Little: +61 (0) 418 780 989
Have your order details available and please let us know the reason for the return or exchange. Please do not return items to our mailing address without prior authorisation as some returns may have to be shipped back directly to our suppliers.
Non-returnable items
Gift wrapping fees are non-refundable.
Sale or ‘specials’ items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Skincare and cosmetics (including but not limited to toiletries, feminine hygiene products, underwear and pharmaceutical products) cannot be returned. In extenuating circumstances, where prior authorisation has been given by mumentum following consideration of your reasons for the returns request, we may issue an exchange or credit for skincare or cosmetic products.
Postage & handling fees on original order are non-refundable (except in case of manufacturing fault – see below).
Returns & Exchanges
We do our best to ensure our products are described in the most accurate way and dispatched as ordered. We would hope that every purchase from mumentum fulfils expectations. However, we will accept return of goods:
- because you have changed your mind or are unhappy with them; or
- if received products are not as ordered or arguably vary from the way in which they were depicted in sales material;
provided that all returned products are:
- accompanied by proof of purchase from mumentum (eg tax invoice, cash receipt, or packing slip);
- unused, unopened and in original condition;
- undamaged (unless by manufacturing fault – see below);
- returned within 14 days of delivery (date goods are received or could reasonably be expected to arrive at ‘ship to’ address);
- in a saleable condition; and
- are not considered skincare or cosmetics (including but not limited to toiletries, feminine hygiene products, underwear and pharmaceutical products).
We reserve the right to refuse the return if these requirements are not met.
If the above requirements are satisfied, we will:
- provide full refund of original payment method or exchange for the value of the products originally ordered; and
- refund the difference where exchanged items are priced lower than the original ordered goods.
However, we will:
- not refund your original shipping costs or return shipping to us;
- not cover shipping costs for exchanged goods (you will be required to pay postage & handling);
- require you to pay the difference where exchanged items are priced higher than the original ordered goods; and
- in instances of exchanges, require you to pay postage & handling for delivery of exchanged goods.
How to return goods
If you return goods by posting them to us through Australia Post, please retain the appropriate proof of return. We recommend that you use the Registered Post service. Otherwise, if the returned goods go missing in transit we will deem you not to have returned them.
Package the item securely and send to the address below.
mumentum
PO Box 245
Sherwood Qld 4075
Australia
It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during return transit.
Manufacturing defects
We do our best to ensure our products are free of any manufacturing defects. On occasion, we may experience faulty workmanship outside of our control. In these instances, where products do not satisfy the purpose for which they were manufactured, we will accept returns for a full refund or exchange, within 14 days of goods arriving at the delivery address or could reasonably be expected to arrive at delivery address.
For returns (refunds) resulting from manufacturing faults, we will credit your original method of payment, including original shipping and return shipping to us and any gift wrapping fee. Proof of purchase from mumentum and return shipping costs are required by way of tax invoices, cash receipts, or packing slips.
Purchases from stockists
If your mumentum-developed product was purchased from one of our stockists, please contact the stockist for their returns policy. mumentum will not accept returns or exchanges for items purchased through a stockist.
Changes to Policy
We reserve the right to amend or change all or any part of the above policy.
